Planning for economic development and biodiversity of the Tiwi Islands

I am part of a multidisciplinary research team working in partnership with Tiwi Resources and Tiwi Rangers to conduct research to support decision making in relation to biodiversity and development in the Tiwi Islands in the Northern Territory, Australia.
We engage with both Indigenous and Western scientific knowledges and methods to document goals, values, and aspirations for land and sea management; model and map important species, ecosystems, and places; and explore the impacts of scenarios of change and management.
